DESCRIPTION:Mike Fitzgerald from the South Denver Economic Development Office will join us for the August 2016 Business Impact Meeting Speaker Series. \n\n\n\nMike will be discussing:\n\n1) An overview of the South Denver Economic Development Partnership and their role in the South Metro Region.\n\n\n\n2) The I-25 S corridor development - what is coming to South Denver and the impact it will have on the Town of Parker\n\n\n\n3) Transportation and the Light Rail extension\n\n\n\n4) The SDEP partnerships with the surrounding communities\n\n\n\nBio:\n\nMike Fitzgerald joined the Denver South Economic Development Partnership as President and CEO on July 1\, 2010.  He has led similar public/private organizations in Montana\, Washington\, Florida and Hawaii.  Throughout his economic development career\, Fitzgerald has worked with several governors\, created economic development strategies for states\, communities and companies.  He set up and directed trade and investment offices in Asia\, Europe\, the Middle East\, South America\, Canada and Mexico.
