The Parker Chamber's annual Economic Update Breakfast equips business owners and professionals for the coming year.  \n\n\n\nYou'll enjoy a hot buffet breakfast and hear from the most influential voices in Colorado's business community. This event draws support from Parker's most critical industries and policy makers. It also serves as the Parker Chamber's annual meeting.\n\n\n\nPresenting Sponsor\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKeynote Speakers\n\n\n\nKate Watkins is Colorado's Demographer. Watkins earned the position in late 2023 after nearly two decades of experience in applied economic and socioeconomic analysis\, including serving as the Chief Economist for Colorado's General Assembly\, and most recently\, as President and Chief Economist at Bright Fox Analytics. As the Chief Economist for the General Assembly\, Watkins led a team of economists and data scientists forecasting economic and state revenue conditions and authoring fiscal and demographic impact analyses. Kate holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from Cornell University and an M.A. in Global Finance Trade and Economic Integration from the University of Denver. She has taught Economics for the University of Colorado Denver's Executive MBA Program and is the past president of the Denver Association of Business Economics.\n\n\n\nKevin Walker is the Director of the City Planning Department for the City of Colorado Springs. He has four decades of experience dealing with the challenges surrounding housing   over built\, under built\, poorly planned\, well planned\, good and bad policy. He has been involved in state and local legislative initiatives\, was President of the Colorado Springs Housing and Building Association\, and received numerous awards for service in the Pikes Peak Region.
