Join us at YOUTH Job, Internship, Volunteer Expo (J.I.V.E.), attended by local students from the surrounding areas (ages 14-25 years old).

Students are looking for employment, internships, volunteer opportunities, and general information and networking.

FAQ's
What materials do I need to bring?
Please bring a 4-6ft long table along with any items necessary for your table.

When should I set up and take down my booth?
Employer setup starts at 10:00 a.m. The job fair opens at 11:00 a.m. and concludes at 1:00 p.m. We ask all employers to be at their booths ready to talk with students from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

How do I register my business for the fair?

How do I make changes to my registration?
If you need to make any changes after you have registered, you can email Laura Tuel at laura@parkerchamber.com or call Laura at 719.235.2206 with your changes.

Can I interview at the fair?
You may schedule interviews at the fair between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. at your booth.

You are responsible for scheduling candidates and your own interview schedule. Employers are asked to schedule 15-minute interviews on the quarter-hour. This will help both employers and students avoid conflicts in their schedules.

Most businesses in the past have conducted pre-screening interviews when they meet job candidates and then follow-up with in person interviews at a later date.

Who can attend the fair?
The job, internship, and volunteer expo is open to ALL youth ages 14-25 years old.

Is there free WiFi at the job fair?
There will be complimentary WiFi available at J.I.V.E.
